What I've heard is that it takes about 20 minutes for the food you eat
to start raising your
blood sugar, which makes your brain think that you've eaten. Certainly
if I have a blood-sugar
crash, it takes about 20 minutes to get over it no matter how much I eat
in that 20 minutes.
(One of the nice things about paleo is the complete absence of sugar
crashes!)
