The software will let you access all the menus, which is one reason why I
like it. I've been able to do things with the software that I could not
have done otherwise. The best example of this is creating a single group
consisting of the first three memory groupings. Thus, I was able to have
separate memory groups for 2, 220, and 440, while also being able to treat
all three groups as one for scanning purposes.
I was also able to change the power-up message from "Hello" to my call. I
suppose that's silly in a way, but I like having my call come up when I
show the radio to sighted friends.
