The Icom T90A is a tri bander, 6, 2, and 440 and is very accessible if your
friend wants more then 2 meters, otherwise, a used HTX-202 is anywhere from
$50 to $70 and there are others out there, I hear the Icom IC-V8 isn't too
bad either though I don't have one of those yet.
