Hi All,

Currently, I have a Sony SW-100S receiver. I love this little radio but am
getting frustrated with some of the things it does such as switching back to
UTC and moving the AM bc band step to 9 instead of 10 kHz. The problem with
that is there is no way I can set it back myself without sighted help. I
also can't set the alarm by myself.

So, here's the question. I am ready to sacrifice some size for
accessibility. Anyone out there have a recommendation of a more accessible
portable shortwave receiver but that is still fairly small in size? If at
all possible, I would like to keep synchronous tuning such as the SW-100S
has and the ability to copy ssb and cw.

Thanks much for your feedback and/or recommendations. Very 73 to all.

Kevin :)
