Hi Bob, so am I, this was for the newest version, 1.8
something I believe. I wouldn't have thought you'd
have the same problems they're having with Jaws with
that version anyway. If your menus are being read by
Jaws, you don't have to worry, but if you decide to
get the latest version, now you know what to do.

Bring up Preferences (Alt+P) and un-check the
option marked "Show icons in pull-down menus", choose

As a user of a screenreader, that being JAWS for
windows, I've found that in the latest version of
EchoLink, that when I go into the menus, they aren't
speaking.  Please, if you could, do whatever has to be
done to rectify this problem. Thanks
