NSAIDS Affect Thyroid Studies

Who would have thought that taking particular non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory pills could lower your thyroid function? Dr. Samuels did,
and proved that aspirin, disalcid and meclomen lower free and total thyroid
hormone test values. So, if you feel that holiday headache coming on, be
sure and use only advil, naprosyn or indocin and your thyroid will thank
you!
