I would agree with Meg, that it's your thyroid itself causing the
depression, not the meds. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid after having
blackouts and alot of heart issues. Talk about stress and depression. I felt
horrible and never knew what was next. I too am on Levoxyl, and started
prozac 6 months into my treatment, still not having my thyroid under
control.( it's been a year now). The prozac, I feel, has helped me get by, as
I am working on the real problem causing my fatigue and depression. Feeling
like crap 24/7 is enough to bring anyone down! Have you had your thyroid
retested to see if it is yet under control? Suzanne
