A warning...Abbott Labs makes a cholesterol medicine called Trocor.  Nowhere in the list of active or inactive ingredients do they list anything that could be construed as containing gluten...in fact they list xantham gum, which is usually included as a substitute for gluten.  I am not a sensitive Celiac by any means.  I took 1/3 of a pill two days ago and am still in agony.

I called them and they use a concentrated form of liquefied wheat gluten in their manufacturing of the medication.

Heads up on this one.
