There are techniques in Acrobat 6.0 for doing this. But the Acrobat 6 version
of this document is still in preparation. I believe the techniques described
in the Acrobat 5 document still work, but the names and locations of menu
items may have changed.

There are additional, easier techniques available in Acrobat 6 for adding
alternate descriptions to a tagged PDF.
