In the article, Near the bottom of the article, there is a description of
using a device that utillizes mandatory laptops on the desk of every student
to "beam" information to and from the instructor. This envolves on the
other end a projection type device and a reciever. This it seems is all
done wirelessly. As I understand it, the technology for doing this relies
on images only.

I did not read the full article about the new style black board, but it
will still require a teacher who describes in full the content on the
board. The intent of using a board is for people to take notes and see how
something is developed or catagorized. If the teacher verbally explains
the development, the blind learner can record the information on tape.
