this was not aimed at you but I will tell you this. The main reason
these moves are being made is so that they can say they comply with us
regulations. Flash is a dumb idea no matter how you cut it and it will
be a dumb idea till they learn how to really do it right. it's right up
there with quicktime and pdf. the only reason those things are used at
all is because they are the only game in town or were for a long time
that do what they do. Now, they are just adding worse to bad by rubbing
a little msaa on them and calling them accessible. And as a matter of
fact, there are still things that are being updated out there that are
perfectly viable and they don't cost much if anything and they don't
require an over blown operating system and no, some people as you
probably know, have no choice to update so they are stuck where they are
and that should not have to be such a bad thing except that those who
weild the power want to grab as much market share as they can rather
than making truly good products that are and can be backward compatible
and still shine for those who have the latest and greatest. When
freedom scientific fixes the video chaining problem if the one that is
being worked on by gw micro and others works, they will make it
available for all versions of jaws, not just the latest one. It is not
possible to do this with all things, but when they can they do.
Take care!

David,
Keeping "up-to-date" seems to be a fact of technology whether we like it
or
not.
