Hi Lisa,
I agree that it is not always possible to be at home and cook.
I travel a great deal and have to rely on resturants a lot. For the most
part things have worked out very well. In almost 2 years of eating out I had
2 episodes of a trace of gluten. I spent 21 days in the Scandinavian
countries this past summer, ate out 3 times a day and had no problem. I did
use a celiac card in the language of the countries I was in. I would not
like to stay home and miss everything I have done over the past 2 years
because I have celiac disease. It is an inconvenience and a pain in the buns
sometimes but if you are determined to live as normally as possible, you
will.
