------------------- Pa Che, first of all, thanks for taking the daring move
and commentary. I will differ 99% on your last paragraph as misguided and
untruth. This YDE business was one of the biggest factors that culminated in
Minister Koro Ceesay's death, Koro knew and understood the implications, such a
venture with evil-minded, corrupt, misguided, lazy-imbecils at its helm, and in
violation of basic marketing, economics and developmental values, only Yahya
Jammeh and AFPRC would benefit from such dangerous move. Koro's worries and
calculations, proved the theorem [QED], that Gambia's lowest common denominator,
would be YDE, July 22 Movement and Yahya's immature and defying nature at
understanding world market and principles. Yahya had this innate and silly hatred
for any and all successful businessman/woman [especially Lebanese [TariK Musa
being a JJC]and mandingo elite] dating back to Jawara up until July 21, 1994. Do
you remember the days when imported rice were ceremoniously dumped by idiotic
military personnel, supervised by Ali Baaba Jobe and his Gang of thugs? No
wonder, the rest of quick-thinking business folks, picked up and left for
greener pastures in Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Mali, etc. Koro was forceful and
uncompromising on the issues of selective targeting and enforcement of the local
businesses. Koro could neither comprehend or withstand the impromptu and overnight
dictates and decisions [DECREES] from AFPRC imbeciles, aimed at almost all
business folks, especially those dealing with parastatals like Customs, GPMB and
Gamtel, the bread basket[s] of Gambia's economy. Unfortunately for Koro and
fortunately for Jammeh, koro's advice were seen counter [AFPRC] revolutionary
for the idiotic soldiers without cause or pause and had to be eliminated, by
any means necessary and to teach/warn the rest to be in tow, or else? If you can
prove to me, "One" successful person or business that benefited from YDE and
is/are not bankrupt or about to go under, due to all the recent exposure of
the highest crimes committed by YDE against Gambians, then I stand proven wrong?
No wonder, the Courts just issued serious warnings at fools trying to shed or
transfer business or monies from YDE, as aiding and abetting AFPRC/YDE
criminals.
In the end, the glorious story of Koro Ceesay and the hatred accorded him by
self-crowned/promoted Lieutenants and Captains' Edward, Ebou, Yankuba and
bureaucrats like Baala and Blaise.
I'll come to the rest of your analogy.
If you could prove to us, one Gambian that benefit [PRODUCTIVELY] from YDE,
then I stand wrong.
