Hi all,
Well, the subject says it the way it is.
Folks, I'm using a Dell laptop, and I want to install the wireless card and then the CD.
Then I want to make it so when I turn on the pc, that it will automatically tell me if I'm connected to a wifi hot spot or not.
I heard I can do this, is this true?
I'm using jfw 4.5.
So, if any of you brave souls out there have done this, can you walk this green guy through the process step by step?
That's my first thing.
Now, here's the second situation. I'm going up north to Gaylord, Mi. and I have a friend who uses Nextel for his cell phone provider.
Now, I heard that folks with a laptop can surf the web over a cell phone with a laptop connected through the cell phone. Have any of you ever done this before? If you have, can you walk me step by step through that process?
Anyway folks, thanks for whatever help you can give.
Harry, who is going into waters I've never gone into before
