Thank you so much for posting the WSJ article, though some may complain
about its not really being "on topic", and, of course, if they do, then this
post is only exacerbating the issue. Yes, I'm a reel-to-reel freak (I've got
three teacs and am, or was, actively contemplating the purchase of a mid to
late eighties tascam 22-4. I'm subscribed to a reel-to-reel list, and, as
you can no doubt imagine, the folks on that list are absolutely apoplectic
about this situation! One of the fellows on that list referenced the WSJ
article and included a link to it, but I hadn't found the time to take a
look at it. Thank you for posting it.
