Hi to all.
I have been an MSN member since late 2000 when I purchased my current Dell
computer. With the assistance of the people at MSN, I was able to
eventually load Internet Explorer without using MSN (MSN worked OK with
Windowbridge, but I could never get JAWS to read it properly.)
Over the past year, I have been getting E-mails from MSN requesting I
download and install the MSN 9 accelerator. In fact, I received this
program on CD from MSN earlier this year and attempted to install it.
However, the program never installed properly, it never worked properly with
my screenreader (JAWS), and I was always forced to do a System Restore to
remove the attempts from my system. However, each and every MSN newsletter
insists I install MSN 9 and that (as eluded to in an earlier posting about
Firefox), Internet Explorer is no longer being serviced or updated (save for
some security patches). With all of this in mind, has MSN 9 ever been made
screenreader friendly and should I reconsider my decision to no longer try
to install it no matter what the MSN newsletter says.
I await answers. To all, take care.
