Hello Harry and other interested parties;
There are a truck load of bibles out here on CD-ROM. I would like to tell
about the one I use. It is the King James Bible
The product is called Theophilos Audio Bible.
Price is $29.95 and $3.50 for S& H.
Web site for hearing and reading more about this CD.
http://www.audio-bible.com/
You will need the real player to listen to the bible online.
Phone number for orders; 864 260 9977
Address: Audio Bible
P. O. Box 272
Anderson S C 29622
What I like about this product.
I can listen to the bible narrated by Alexander Scourby
It is easy to find book, chapter and verse.
I consider this CD-ROM to be a reference bible because it has 8 directories
and 6 commentaries.
You are able to get verse references by using the commentaries.
You can bookmark your favorite passages and add personal notes.
The web site literature says the CD-ROM works with JAWS scripts. I am a
ZoomText user so I wouldn't know anything about this.
If you need more info you are welcome to contact me off list.
Mr. Lynn Evans

Subject: getting my own Bible to read offline, not online, can it be done?
: Hi all,
: This question is to those of you who read the Bible on your computer.
: I know the Bible can be read online, there are gobs of sites out there for
doing that. However, is there a good study Bible with the Strongs
Concordance numbers in the verses that I can get and use? Or, can I copy
the one from the blueletter bible http://www.blueletterbible.org
: I could buy a Bible like it in print and get it brailled for me but it
will cost me $800 to do that and I don't have that kind of money to do that.
: Harry
