Yes. This is a little device for around three dollars that you plug your
headphones into and then directly into your walkman. It allows you to
adjust the stereo channels. With it you can play taped books from the
store. Without ot you hear two tracks at once. It's called a bookcassette
adapter cat. no. 274-396A. Hear left or right stereo channels through both
sides of your headphones without balance control. I just found the
package.
Half the hired help won't know what you're talking about so be persistent
with the number. Also circuit city does not carry this device.
