I know nothing more about this service than what's posted here;
therefore, I do not know if the service is accessible to or usable by
the blind. I'm simply passing this along for folks to do with as they please.

We at Meivox have developed a new application that will be useful to
many of your users. We help provide access for members of the
disabled community to newspapers, magazines, books, blogs and to the
written word in general, by means of a mobile phone or computer
through the use of voice commands. We call it Voice Controlled
Reading and Listening. Our website, www.meivox.com, describes all our
services and we have developed a demo that will allow you to try out
the technology using a web browser, without having to download the
software. Please contact me for more information. Thank-you. Allen
