Hello All:
I took a call from someone this afternoon who has what seems to be an
unusual problem. They are running JAWS and Magic as screen reader and
screen magnification. They have Mcafee Antivirus, the latest version.
Their JAWS version is 7.0 and their Magic is 9.0.
They are unable to move messages from the inbox to another folder in
Outlook Express. We went into the edit menu, then arrowed down to move
to folder and JAWS doesn't say it's disabled. I tried re-creating the
problem, even though I don't have Mcafee by turning off both the folder
bar and folder list in window layout under the view manu of Outlook
Express and I couldn't re-create the problem. Having folder bar off and
folder list on didn't cause the problem, neither did having both folder
bar and folder list on and folder bar on and folder list off.
So, does anyone have any ideas of why this person cannot move messages
to folders in OE? The person has talked with someone who works with
adaptive technology in their area that has a client with a similar
problem, and the adaptive tech person doesn't know how to solve it.
Any ideas? Thanks.
