Hello Ray and other interested parties.on this topic:

SYMPTOMS
When you open any message in Microsoft Outlook Express, it always opens the
message in a small window. You can maximize the message but when you open
another message or close and open the same message it will again be opened
in a small window.

CAUSE
Outlook Express does not have an option to open new messages in a full
screen or maximized Window. Outlook Express does save the size of the window
you selected last time you opened the message.

RESOLUTION
If you open a message and instead of maximizing it, drag the four corners to
stretch the window to almost full screen, Microsoft Windows 95 will remember
the Window size and open all messages in a larger window.

This seems to work in the latest versions of Outlook Express 6.
I believe the keystrokes for this task would be as follows.

To pull down the system menu for the window press alt spacebar.
press the letter m to select move or arrow keys to move up or down and
select move and enter.

Use the arrow keys the position the window to the corners of the screen and
press escape when done.

When using the arrow keys for this task move along the borders of the
window.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Maximizing Messages in Outlook Express

Hello All:

I have a question. I have a client who is asking me if you can have
messages permanently maximized in Outlook Express. For example, if you
go into one message, maximize it, then read that message and go to
another one, when you open the second one, is there a way that it will
come up maximized? I've looked at several options in Outlook Express
and I can't find a way to do this; so, I'm asking all of you here in
case I am missing something.

Thanks for your helpin advance.
