this is one of the crankiest email lists I have ever been on! It reminds me more than anything
else of being at the dinner table with my four younger brothers, 40 years ago. The sort of
thing that makes a funny movie, but is tediously pointless to live through.

I stay on the list mostly because I can hardly believe some of the flames I see here, and it
provides me a little amusement... and now and then something thoughtprovoking about
paleo concerns happens by. Lately I have been thinking how astounding it is that the human
species has not yet managed to destroy itself entirely through internecine strife... and oddly
enough, competition for food sources is rarely discussed here and having an impact on
consumption patterns, that I have ever noticed.
