The brand I use (Liquid Rock) lists one of the
ingredients as: potassium alum (natural mineral
salts).

Per Websters, alum is defined as: "any of various
double salts isomorphous with potash alum."

You may be thinking of aluminum zirconium which is
used in a number of deodorants.
