Here on the list a couple of times - in related articles.
There are some tissues which require glucose as the obligate food.
Brain cells - red blood cells and some kindey tissue.
Brain cells can be trained to switch to fat in a few days - but only partly.
Net glucose requirement of all thes tissues is around 500 kcal -- while
beeing in ketotis this could decrease to around 200 kcal
(thats about the 60-80 g carb in ketosis).

But brain cells and some other need glucose essentially -
and glucose levels *never* drop below the a low limit - or the brain dies
in a few minutes (hypoglycemie).
