Don't think so. It comes from salt mines. It is sea salt from ancient seas
that don't exist any more. Some is extracted in the mines and then brought
to the surface and crushed. Some is brought to the surface by pumping water
down to the mine and then bringing the brine up to the surface and
evaporating it. About 70% of the world's salt comes from salt mines. About
30% of the world's salt comes from evaporating sea water into sea salt. Ken
