My prayers are with Lawyer sillah and his family. May Allah ( SWT ) give him
a speedy recovery and save him from this barbaric, heinous and cowardly act.
These are crimes that we Gambians will NEVER forget, and all the
perpetrators should never dream to live in peace with Gambians. If Yaya
Jammeh does not know anything about all these killings / shootings /
attacks, let him put the perpetrators on trial. Names have been forwarded
for different crimes and those people have not yet been arrested. The 11th
Nov. 1994 killings of -
1. Company Sgt. Major ------Lt. Gibril Saye-------- ( fmr. training wing
officer )
2. Lt. Basiru Barrow---------------------------------( fmr.Transport
officer ) later CO.
3 Lt. Faal--------------------------------------------( fmr. Training wing
officer )
4. Sgt. Fafa Nyang------------------------------------ ( fmr. ration store
sgt. )
5. Sgt. Basiru Camara ---------------------------------( fmr. Driver to
Brig. Abubacar Dada of Nigeria )
6 Sgt. Major E.M Ceesay-------------------------------( fmr. A.H.Q. Camp
officer )
Plus the Balanghar boys, who are buried in mass graves. Who ordered the
killings of the above people ? Who gave orders to Cpl. Batch Jallow and Cpl.
Kanyi to went on with the killing?
Who ordered Koro Ceesay`s killing?
Who ordered the killings of Almamo Manneh and Dumbuya ?
Who ordered the killings of our innocent students?
How many people are now under arrest without trial? The attackers on Lawyer
Ousman sillah are described as the same as the attackers in different
incidents that have occured. So, one can believe that they are the same
people, being backed by the government. We know that Justice will NEVER
prevail, and the killings will continue. The man with might and power will
one day come to our rescue! Thanks to Essa Sey and Ebou Jallow, for coming
out plain to condemn this barbaric action. Allah ( SWT ) is one, and he is
always on the side of the truth.
Elhadj Tapha.

Jammeh MUST condemn this act of terrorism, and make a promise to all law
abiding citizens that justice will be done. His "operation no compromise"
must be a promise for justice and the rule of law. I hope he will seize this
oppurtunity to hand over the murderers of Koro Ceesay (Edward Singhartey,
Yankuba Touray, Sgt Kanji and Tamba) to the local police for trial. There
should be no more compromise with rampant terrorism. It is time to bring
murderers to justice. I have been well informed that Singhartey is
personally involved in this recent hostilities against Lawyer Sillah inorder
to create chaos, and terminate his arch-enemy, Baba Jobe.
