By the way, I understand, that in that story I told earlier about Terri's
cousin and her parents, they were wrong in telling her about her father's
drug use and loss of his job in that way.
Terri and I talked about it after I sent the message and we decided that it
was her parent's childish way of striking back at their daughter for her
immature mouthing off.
They should have sat her and her brother down right after it happened and
told them about it then I think.
This way, the mother could share her anger at her husband for being so
irresponsible and he could have told them that he was sorry for doing
something so irresponsible.
But, then I hear you shouldn't tell your children your problems, but you
should work them out between yourselves out of their hearing.
Perhaps, that means you should talk first, get everything squared away, then
tell them.
