Major bummer. Glad no one was hurt. My dad and I had a picnic table blow
out the back of his pick up similarly once. I remember looking back after
hearing a noise and seeing the picnic table land on all fours and spin
circular down the highway lol. No one was behind or in front oncoming so no
one was hurt. We stopped, put it back in the truck and went home and  it
was fine. That had to be a bummer  to have happen to such a new thing and
something you guys share as a family. But it is not as though you can't get
another one I suppose. You might check with your home owner's insurance to
see if they cover any off property assets. wouldn't hurt to try... I would
ask if it were me.
