Its very sad. It is obvious that a lot more civilians are being killed/ maimed
now than during Saddam's era. Similarly there are many more terrorists being
trained in Iraq than before. Public Utilities are in a worse condition. Oil
Production is lower. Billions of dollars (much of which "belonged" to the
Iraquis) has been spent by US mostly to favoured US contractors with no
quality control nor coherent planning. The failures of Bush/Blair to create a
"Western Friendly" state in the Middle East has emboldened Iran to renew its
Nuclear research, knowing the US People are unlikely to meekly support
another act of wanton aggression.
Its a complete mess, and one which was not entirely impossible to see coming.
