I hope someone can help me with this. I have no sound at all. I replaced my 15 gig HD with an 80 gig. Everything works just fine except my sound. I do have a yellow exclamation mark next to PCI Multimedia audio device. I thought I could fix it by updating my driver. I tried updating and I receive the following message:Code 28,The drivers for this device are not installed, file viaudio.sys was not found. I tried to go further with this and received this message: Windows needs the disk labeled 'VIA AC'97 Audio WDM Driver Disk to continue. Error code 137.I do not have this disk so I went to VIA arena and tried to get the drivers from that site and during download I got a blue screen with an error message: File Name VCACHE(01)000015A4 ERROR:0E:0025, C004EC40. I simply shut down my computer at that time. Please advise me on what I need to do. My motherboard is a Biostar V6941. Motherboard chipset ApolloPro 133A. For Audio I show Northbridge VIA VT82C694X Apollo Pro133A, And Southbridge VIA VT82C686A.If any additional information is needed please advise. I am far from an expert regarding computers but I can follow directions well.
Thank You,
Lisa
