Kathy, I usually don't say much about Chris because of the battles we have
had with Gretchen.  I would say, though, I would not recommend he be
hospitalized and here is why.  In all my years of transcription, I have
never seen hospitals help anybody like Chris.  Even the adults who are
hospitalized for mental illness keep going into the hospital and getting
discharged; going in and getting discharged.  Most of the treatment is with
medications.  Not to say that meds can't help but the real problems are not
addressed.  Even the drunks who come into our ER, they are usually the same
people in a cycle that goes around and around and around.
