Over the past 6 months, thousands of letters appeared on
Capitol Hill to educate lawmakers about celiac disease.
These letters helped push the Senate HELP Committee to
unanimously pass S. 741, and its food labeling provisions.
Then, Reps. Lowey and Greenwood introduced HR 3684, the Food
Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act.
NOW is the time to start calling and writing your
legislators. Tell them to cosponsor S. 741, or HR 3684. The
ACTF online advocacy site has letters ready for emailing. Go
to: www.capwiz.com/celiac and plug-in your zipcode.
Let's have thousands of NEW letters waiting when lawmakers
return to Washington on Jan. 20th!
Unified voices carrying one message will bring CHANGE!

Co-Chairs, American Celiac Task Force
