Thanks for your many responses to my question about things to help deal
with the itching of DH associated with gluten sensitivity-celiac. The
following is a summary of your responses, including the general advice
to "hang in there!" I'm hanging in, and finding some relief from a
Band-Aid product called Anti-Itch Gel. It used to be sold as Rhuli, but
the company was bought by Johnson & Johnson. (Sometimes I think we will
all soon be owned by one gigantic corporation!)
Prescriptions: Celestone-M, colchicine, fluocinonide 0.05%CR,
minocycline, prednisone, B12 shots, Cormax, Doxipin, Betnovate
Over the counter: Sarna, Epsom salt baths, claritin, salt water soak,
bath oils, Benedryl, nicotinic acid, Aveeno oatmeal baths, homeopathic
remedies: veratrum alb 30c or rhus tox 30c
Staying away from salt, salty foods, and shellfish
Staying absolutely gluten free (we all do our best, don't we?!)
