An inexpensive test (only $20.00) is available to test your selenium level
via a toenail clipping sample through a University of Missouri selenium
study program. This is a real bargain. If you have thyroid disease or
other symptoms which may be related to selenium deficiency because of
celiac disease, you should consider this test. At this price you can
monitor your selenium levels on a regular basis. These sites are also a
good source of info on selenium.
