I learned that "fresh" only means never frozen - most of us assume it also
means that it hasn't been processed.  Apparently, a turkey can be called fresh
even if it's been injected with something to enhance the flavor.  However, 90%
of you said that a fresh turkey should be OK - just make sure to read the
label to be sure there haven't been any enhancements.

I also received the usual warnings about cross contamination.

Oh yeah, and one person wrote to me to confirm that I had indeed, asked a
stupid question.
