For our recent support group meeting, we were generously given three mixes from Marlene's Mixes to bake and share. I had never before in my life made a rolled cake, but I dared -and triumphed - with her Pumpkin Cake Roll! It calls for a cream cheese filling which I dolled up with walnuts and nutmeg. It was sooo easy to make, and I'm going to serve this at my Thanksgiving dinner. The other sample mixes were for Tea Cakes, which reminded me of those nut-balls-rolled-in powdered-sugar that I loved as a kid - and Rice Muffins. All these goodies were scarfed at the group meeting.
I'm a satisfied new customer. Check it all out at www.marlenesmixes.com
Happy November Baking to all.
