The suggestion to do original writing (or artwork) for my friends has
inspired me.  I just went upstairs and dug up some old drawings and short
stories I did years and years ago.  I had tried to sell them free-lance but
got so discouraged after one or two rejections that I gave up (sounds like
my love life.  Laughing out loud.)  But I'd like to give that (the
free-lance, not the love life) a try again so I just placed an order for the
new Writer and Artists Markets to start the new year with a renewed interest
in being creative!  Thanks!
