Hello All.
Something tells me that this has happened to many of you, too.
I recently updated my credit card's expiration date for my
Earthlink dial-up account. After doing so, the woman there tried to sell
me anti-virus and firewall protection.
When I asked her if Earthlink doesn't provide some kind of overall
protection, she reassured me that it does. Then I told her that I
have Norton installed on my computer. However, the woman still
said that it is a good idea for me to have this additional
protection for only $5.95 per month, regularly updated, for the indefinite
future.
Now, how much truth is in that, and what is it worth to me? I've never
had any problem with my computer getting infected.
Thanks,
Peter
