Hi everyone,
   In my quest for new text to speech applications,
I've found this excellent little piece of freeware
called Simple Reader from

It's a tiny program that reads whatever you copy into
the clipboard using Microsoft Agents. Nothing fancy,
just one button you click for starting the reading and
a menu for selecting the voice you prefer. It's great
for reading e-mails, letters, and any other documents
you'd like. Many computers already have MS Agent
software installed, but if you aren't sure that you
have it, go to this site:

Here, there is a demonstration of MS Agents and it
will determine which components you may need. You can,
also, download whatever component you need directly
from this site. More and more applications are using
MS Agents and the related L&H TruVoice speech engine,
so you may find many other uses for these components.
