HI, Harry,
The latest version of the Online Bible I have is something like version
6.37, from around 1997 or so. It was made with the idea that it would be
used under Windows 95, could still install and run under Windows 3.11, and
still had a goodly part of the older version 6.22 for DOS component in it.
It worked quite well, under DOS with JAWS, Vocal-Eyes, Artic BusinessVision,
or ASAP. Under Windows, it worked quite well using then-current versions of
JFW, Artic's WinVision, or Window-Eyes. Even ASAW could navigate around in
it fairly well.

In that version, once you highlighted a specific word, one of your menu
items would be to go to the Strong's numbers and get the reference number
for tht word. Under the Strong's Concordance stuff, you could peruse that
entry and then go to the appropriate Greek or Hebrew lexicon to expand on
the definitions and gramatical contexts for that Greek or Hebrew word you
found there.
The program has a word processor/text editor and cut-and-paste functions
that let you incorporate any of all of those bits of information into your
notes, sermon, Bible study, or whatever you might be preparing. You can
then easily go to other scriptures containing that same word or subject
matter, using the search for the next occurrance of the word, or using the
Strong's list to find it. You can then cross-reference how other
translations word the same passage.
By the way, what was the phone number you used to get the current Online
Bible Deluxe version? I should probably update mine.
