Heritage for the Blind makes a few Hebrew prayer books in Braille available
with the monies they raise. It is a telemarketing operation mostly, nothing
more! They have a product that they claim to offer so they can keep raising
money and register with the attorney general's office as a charitable
organization. I really don't believe, either from their paternalistic
attitude in their commercials, or by their evasive answers on the phone that
they are anything but a cover organization for a big money grab using the
blind as their bait!

Do you like to be bait? If not, contact the New York A.G.'s office and ask
about these folks! Contact the radio stations and complain about the lies
in the ads. And

Those ads do lie. You are not the blind person they describe in those ads,
nobody is.

Sorry for the rant. There are organizations that really do good that have a
hard time raising cash. Its the dishonest crap that floats to the top of
the money!
