Ray,
If this is a computer at a particular job site, then group policies defined
by the company's IT department may prevent her from running software whose
publisher is not clearly stated in the file signature or if the file is not
signed at all. So, you'll need to find out whether this is a work computer
and if this secuirty restriction can be lifted by her IT department.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Unblocking Software Where Publisher Cannot be Verified
Hello:
I got a call from a client with an error message I haven't seen before
and, therefore, do not know how to fix. She is trying to log onto a web
page for a company she works for. After she puts in her password, she
gets the following error messsage: "Internet Explorer Dialog. Windows
has blocked this software because the publisher can't be verified."
I searched the Microsoft Knowledge base and I could not find an article
for this error. The client is running Internet Explorer 6 on a Windows
XP machine with Service Pack 2 installed. We got all of her Microsoft
VM and Java settings enabled in Internet explorer, and we set her
security level for the internet zone to medium. Still, no luck. Any
ideas?
Thanks,
