     Try downloading and an running the free version of Ad-Aware 6.
You can find on PC Worlds website:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,7423,00.asp

This should help you control some of those nasty pop-ups.

In the last 2 months or so i have been slammed with pop-ups, mostly from
Microsoft Internet Explorer. I think there is somewhere I can uncheck
