Don's solution is good.  Bill Gates' "helpful" <autoformat> options really
irritate me.  Best solution is to type directly into the box provided by
the Maelstrom server.  This permits you to re-format the earlier posts (as
I have done above).  Another is to compose in Word, copy the finished note
into Notepad and copy from there into the list screen.
