I haved virtually cured my IBS by eating paleo and taking Primal Defense, a
probiotic. It has been claimed that omega 3 fatty acids can alleviate
depression. The best sources for them, other than fish oil supplements, are
Alaskan wild salmon (known to be mercury free) and sardines. Also grassfed
beef has a much higher omega 3 content than does grainfed beef.
