Apparently red meat is not, but preserved meats like bacon and sausage
may be. Fried preserved meats create some chemicals that may influence
cancer. The statistics on this are pretty weak though, any one test may
go either way. Things that are so hard to discern that it takes dozens
of large scale samples and still just barely registers, well...I just
don't worry about. It is nothing like the relationship of smoking to
cancer, for instance.
