I don't have the good fortune of being a skilled hunter or being in
touch with someone who is at this time. I used to know a very good bow
hunter who would share venison steaks with his friends...YUM! I loved those!
If I had bagged a deer, I think it would be fine to trim the fat but
don't throw it away. Render it down to make some excellent pemmican!
Save those bones....marrow is a very nutritious food!
