This is very interesting, Vinny, and not at all surprising. It is
apparent, however, that the individual countries and states are already
working hard to bring about what the human rights groups want the U.N. to
do. If you go to the website on the U.N. resolutions, and read very far,
you'll see that their resolutions aren't often adhered to. In other words,
the U.N. does not have the power to enforce what they put forth as
resolutions. For example, Israel is one of the worst offenders in that
area, but you won't hear or read anything about it. They holler the
loudest if any other country does not abide by U.N. resolutions, but they
continue to ignore the ones against them.
In other words, not to worry about a U.N. resolution. It won't mean much
as far as enforcing it goes, and as I said earlier, the countries and
states are already bowing to the demands of homosexuals, while removing
more and more of the rights of godly people, especially in the U.S.A.
Now I know you didn't ask for a speech, but my soapbox was handy and I
hadn't used it in awhile, so it was tempting! LOL!
I'm aware of your concern about this, and it makes me almost ill to even
think about what has happened and is happening. But our God will have His
last Word on the subject of homosexuality and other sins so blatantly
exhibited by the evil one. Our responsibility is to remain faithful to
Him, the Light which exposes those sins, and the Power and Authority to
bring to judgment those involved.
