In consideration of our discussion of discipline, we see from the below
scripture that not only are children suppose to hear and listen, but also
parents are to instruct and teach as well. Thank God scripture precepts  of
our lives are not founded on just one scriputre, but a culmination of
scriputre as a whole to realize God's intent for our lives.

"Hear, my son, your father's instruction And do not forsake your mother's
teaching; Indeed, they are a graceful wreath to your head" -- Proverbs 1:8-9
