That sauce I posted is very good and much better than these sauces you will
see which call for tomato paste.
I used to think you had to use tomato paste and as far as I am concerned,
it's too hard to deal with.
They put it in a can and it does not come out of a can well and it's sticky
and thick and just all around a pain!
I always write in my recipes that you can break up stewed tomatos with your
fingers.
Well, actually, you can run them through a blender for a couple of seconds
or I suppose you could break them up with a fork in a small bowl as well.
